Kennel Assistant Position This position assists in the operations of the Animal Shelter and requires the following skills: following proper safety procedures, handling and caring for animals delivered to the shelter, maintenance and janitorial functions, assisting with animal adoptions and ability to serve the public. This part time to full time position offers a salary above minimum wage. Specific training will be provided, however, prior related experience and/or training in the handling of animals is preferred. Computer skills required. The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and the ability to write and complete simple forms is required. A current WV driver license along with dependable transportation is a must.
